Graduation Images will be taking photos of graduates as they cross the stage during our ceremony May 10th. In an effort to inform the parents of graduates about photos at the upcoming ceremony, Chappell, Inc. has made available a preregistration system which allows
the graduates and/or their parents to provide their email and mailing address information to Chappell prior to the ceremony. They can also add up to 6 family members' contact information as well to help share the good news and the photos! Graduates can preregister their email, friends and family email addresses and Graduation Images will contact them just as soon as their photos are available for online viewing and ordering.

• Valley Center seniors consistently score above the state and national averages on the ACT exam.

• Approximately 92% of VCHS graduates go on to college or other post-secondary school.

• VCHS teacher named as Kansas Horizon Award winner for outstanding first-year teaching in 2005.

• VCHS choir received the Award of Excellence at regional contest (2006) and the Award for Superior at regional contest and Excellence at state contest (2005).

• 15 VCHS students participating in Wichita area honor bands/orchestras (2006). Five students selected to South Central District Honor Band sponsored by Kansas Music Educators Association (2006).

• Eight VCHS students recognized in the past six years for outstanding achievement in the National Merit competition.

• VCHS wrestling team was the Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League Champions (2004), Regional Champions (2005), and placed third in the state (2005).

• VCHS volleyball was AVCTL co-champions (2005) and sub-state champion (2004).

• Boys cross country team went to state (2004). Girls’ team was league champion (2004) and placed sixth in the state (2004).

• The men’s baseball team placed second in the state (2001).

• Seven VCHS students were National qualifiers in speech/debate and forensics since 2002.

• Consistent placement of 12-20 VCHS students in state forensics competitions annually.

• Multiple high school awards: FCCLA- top three placements in STAR events, at State and National level for Power of One. DECA- annual national qualifiers.
